6-day tour from Marrakech to Fes.
The itinerary of the 6-day tour from Marrakech to Fes:
Day 1: Marrakech- Atlas Mountains- Ait Ben Haddou- Zagora.
We are going to start our “6-day trip from Marrakech to Fes” at 9 AM then drive towards the High Atlas Mountains where we enjoy breathtaking views along the way, reaching a point of 2260 M High. Afterward, we will arrive at one of the most preserved Kasbahs in Morocco which is Ait Ben Haddou, where International Movies have been shot. For instance, Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Prince of Persia. Finally, we will continue our direction to Zagora.
Day 2: Zagora- Tafraoute- M’harech Oasis- Ramlia- Ouzina Sand Dunes.
After breakfast, we will start our day with a panoramic view over the biggest Valley of Palm trees in Morocco then take the Dakar Rally track towards Tafraout Village where we will have a local Lunch. Later on, we will drive on a scenic road till we arrive at Ramlia. Finally, we will be at our destination which is Ouzina Sand Dunes. Night at an adobe hotel in the desert.
Day 3: Nomads- Ouzina Village- Fossils- Sunset over Sand Dunes.
Today, we will have an expedition journey. First, we will look for Nomads who live in the Middle of nowhere to figure out how they live in the Sahara and share a cup of tea with them. Second, we are going to drive to Ouzina village, where we will discover how the Locals bake bread in a public bakery and then have lunch with the locals. Finally, drive to a fossil place to dig for trilobites. The night will be in a hotel in Ouzina.
Day 4: Ouzina- Ancient engravings- Gnawa- Camel trekking and overnight in a Desert Camp.
We will start at 9 AM from Ouzina and then drive on the Dakar off-road towards ancient engravings whose history dates back to thousands of years BC. Afterward, we will be in Khamlia Village, where we will have a Gnawa performance. Finally, we will mount Camels to a Desert Camp in the middle of Sand Dunes. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 5: Merzoug- Rissani Market- Ziz Valley- Midelt.
On the fifth day, we will have a chance to visit a local Market in the desert where more than 300 villages get their necessities then continue our way to Ziz Valley which is full of Date trees. Afterward, we will cross the Atlas Mountains with stops to enjoy Breathtaking views till we get to the Capital of Apples in Morocco which is Midelt.
Day 6: Midelt- Cedar Forest- Meknes- Fes.
This is our last day of “Marrakech trips”. We will start at 9 AM and then drive towards Cedar Forest where we will have the opportunity to share some time with Barbary Apes. Later on, we will continue to one of the four imperial cities in Morocco which is Meknes City which flourished during Molay Ismail’s reign in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Finally, continue to the Spiritual Capital of Morocco of Fes.
