6- day tour from Tangier to Marrakech

The itinerary of the 6-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech:

Day 1:  Tangier- Rif Mountains- Chefchaouen.

You will be greeted by your guide on your arrival at the Tangier port or airport then start the “6- day tour from Tangier to Marrakech towards Chefchaouen Via Rif Mountains. When we arrive at Chefchaouen, which is a small and magnificent blue town, once you arrive you will check in to your accommodation and then discover the Medina on your own.

Day 2: Chefchaouen-  Rif Mountains- Volubilis- Meknes- Fes.

After breakfast, we will head towards Volubilis, which is a Roman-Berber archaeological site, where you will have a chance to discover those Berber-Roman ruins. Afterward, we will continue on our way to one of the four imperial cities in Morocco, which is Meknes City, where you will visit the hidden treasure of the city on your own, including Bab El Mansour gate, Qara Prison, El Ahdim Square, and Medrassa Bouanania. Finally, we will drive to Fes. 

Day 3: Fes City tour.

After breakfast in your accommodation, we will meet our local guide in the Riad start our journey from the King’s Palace gate then drive to the southern tower, where you will enjoy the whole Medina from a panoramic view. Afterward, we will drive to the Pottery factory, where you’ll see the techniques that they use to make ceramics. Furthermore, you will accompany your local guide to the old Medina to discover its historical monuments such as Al Qarawyyen University, tanneries, Molay Idriss Mausoleum, and Nejjarine Museum. The night will be in a riad inside the Medina. 

Day 4:  Fes- Ifrane- Atlas Mountains- Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

We’ll be leaving this morning towards Ifrane, which is the Swiss town of Morocco. Afterward, we will be in the biggest Cedar Forest in Africa, where we may see Monkeys, later on, we will take the scenery way towards the High Atlas Mountains where there are breathtaking views. In the Afternoon, we will continue on our way to Ziz Valley. Finally, we will arrive at the Sahara Desert where you will experience Camel trekking and spend the night in a desert camp. 

Day 5: Sahara- Erfoud- Todra Valley and Gorge – Dades Valley.

In the early morning, you will have a chance to see a magnificent sunrise from a dune near the camp, then head back by the Camels to meet your Guide, afterwards, drive to Rissani, where there is one of the biggest Local markets in the Area. From there, we’ll continue towards Dades Valley, on our way, we will visit Erfoud, Todra Valley, and Todra Gorge. The night will be in Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley, Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Marrakech.

After breakfast, we’ll take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Ouarzazate, which is called the Hollywood of Africa. Then we continue towards Ait Ben Haddou, which is one of the ninth UNESCO sites in Morocco, there where, so many International Films have been shot, such as the bible, Indiana Jones, The Mummy … ETC. In the afternoon, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains, with stops to enjoy breathtaking views. Late evening, we will arrive in Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation.
