The itinerary of 5 days tour from Fes To Marrakech Via Sahara Desert:
1st day: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga.
After breakfast, we will start our “5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara desert, Tours from Fes to Sahara, Adventure tours from Fes ” from your Riad/hotel and drive toward Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane, where you will see a European style of buildings. Afterward, you’ll arrive at the Biggest Cedar Forest in Africa, where you will see Barbary Apes. After having lunch in Midelt we will drive to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees. Finally, we will arrive Sahara desert to the Sand Dunes of Erg Chebbi for the desert tours. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.
2nd day: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Nomads- Camel Trekking and Night in Desert Camp.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will start an exploratory journey of the area which included visiting the Nomads and seeing how they live in the desert with their animals. Also, the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from other African countries such as Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. You may also visit the local souk of Rissani (if it is an open day Market). Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. Back to the village of Merzouga for some rest, in the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Overnight will be at a desert camp, where you will have your dinner and listen to Berber music played by the locals under a starry sky.
3rd day: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra gorges – Dades valley – Dades gorges.
Waking up early to see the sunrise is a must-do. Then, go back to the hotel on camels for breakfast and shower. Later, we will drive to Erfoud, the capital of fossils where you will visit a fossil cooperative. Afterward, we will drive to Tinghir where you’ll see Todra valley from panoramic views and Todra gorge which is a national park for rock climbing. Then, we will drive to Dades Valley where we will spend the night.
4th day: Dades gorges – Dades valley – Roses valley – Kelaa M’gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we will drive to the narrow Canyons where we will do 2 hours of hiking inside a beautiful rock-formation called by the locals “monkey-toe” enjoying nice shapes or drive towards Boutghrar where we will have an opportunity to share a cup of tea with Nomads living in Caves, then head to Rose’s valley where an annual festival takes place each may, celebrating Roses. Later, drive on the road of a thousand Kasbah till we arrive at Skoura, where we will visit Amridil Kasbah. Finally, we will head toward Ouarzazate “ the Hollywood of Morocco” there where you may visit Cinema studios. The night will be in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
5th day: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains.
After breakfast, we will drive to the center of Ouarzazate to see “Taourirt Kasbah”, which is constructed in the seventeenth century. Then drive to one of the oldest and most famous Kasbahs in Morocco which is Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs, there, where Gladiator, the Mummy, Indiana Jones, and Game of Thrones turned. Eventually, we will cross High Atlas Mountains with stops to see different landscapes and Beber villages till we arrive at Marrakech.
