Itinerary of 5 day- trip from Rabat to Marrakech :
Day 1: Rabat- Azrou- Midelt- Camel trekking and overnight in the Desert. (596 km)
Our guide will welcome you to Rabat then start our 5-day- trip from Rabat to Marrakech towards the biggest Cedar Forest in Morocco where we will meet Apes, especially a species called Macaque. We will continue our scenic road to our Destination which is Sahara Desert, the vast Desert in Africa where we will experience Camel trekking and spend our first night in a luxury Desert camp in the line of dunes. We will have private tents which are equipped with a comfortable bed and hot water. Dinner and music under a starry sky.
Day 2: Explore the Sahara Desert.
Today, we will commence our day with a magnificent sunrise over a sea of sand dunes. We will meet our driver/ guide in the Camp then drive to look for nomads who live in the area to share cup of tea with them and figure out how they live in the Sahara Desert. We will drive off-road to visit an oasis to see how a group of villagers use a sophisticated system which brings water from the sand dunes to their plots in the Oasis. Afterwards, we will have a typical lunch which is Berber Pizza. Finally, we will have free time in the hotel to relax. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Sahara- Todra Gorges- Dades Valley- Ouarzazate. (366 km)
We will leave the Sahara Desert towards the Hollywood of Africa (Ouarzazate) which will be our destination for today passing by the beautiful Todra Gorges where we will spend an hour to contemplate 300 m high cliffs. We will continue on our way to Dades valley where we will have a panoramic view over it. Finally, we will drive to Ouarzazate passing by Rose valley where an annual festival of roses is held every May.
Day 4: Ouarzazate- Ait Benhaddou- Ozoud Waterfalls. (225 km)
We will start our 4th day from the Taourirt Kasbah which is located in the center of the city then we drive to the most ancient and well preserved village in Morocco that is Ait Benhaddo Kasbah, where a set of international films have been turned such as: The Mummy, The Game Of Thrones, Indiana Jones, Scorpion king, The babel… after visiting that Icon Village, we will drive alongside the Ounila valley which contains breathtaking views, the real views of Atlas Mountains. Finally, we will arrive at the most magnificent waterfall in Morocco which is Ozod Falls. Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 5: Half day in Ozoud Falls- Marrakech. (160 km)
Today is our last day, we will have enough time to have a cup of mint tea in front of the falls and enjoy our time there. The falls are 110 m high. We will meet people from different cities. After lunch, we will continue to the Red City which is Marrakech. Thank you for your visit. 5 day- trip from Rabat to Marrakech.
