This is the itinerary of 4-day tour from Meknes to Marrakech:
Day 1: Meknes- Azrou- Cedar forest- Atlas- Sahara desert.
We will start our “4- day tour from Meknes to Marrakech”- Morocco tours from Meknes- trips from Meknes to the Sahara” at 8.30 AM then drive towards Azrou which is Located in the Middle Atlas Mountains where we will visit Monkeys, especially a species called Macaques. Afterward, we continue our journey to an immense valley in the desert. Finally, we will reach the Sahara Desert where we will ride Camels on the dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a Desert Camp.
Day 2: Discover the Sahara desert.
Today is a special day because we are going to discover the secrets of the Sahara desert. First, we visit an Oasis, where we figure out how a typical Irrigation system works. Second, we are going to visit a Nomadic family in the middle of the desert. Later on, we will have a typical lunch in a Berber village inhabited by Gnawa people. Free afternoon, to get a rest and enjoy the Sahara desert on your own. Night in a hotel.
Day 3: Sahara desert- Rissani- Todra Gorge- Dades valley.
Today, we will wake up before sunrise to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes of the Merzouga desert then head back by Camels to meet our guide who will take us to a local market that is used by Nomads and villagers around the desert. Afterward, we continue to Todra Gorge which is a national park for rock climbers. After walking inside the cliffs, we will continue our journey toward Dades Valley. The night will be in a charming valley.
Day 4: Dades valley- Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou- Atlas- Marrakech.
This is our last day which will start at 9 AM then drive to the Hollywood city of Africa which is Ouarzazate. We will have a chance to visit Universal Studios if you are interested in that. Afterward, we are going to visit an old village or “Ighrem” which is Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs where a bunch of international films have been shot such as GLADIATOR, THE MUMMY, THE GAME OF THRONES ETC. After visiting that spectacular stage, we will cross the High Atlas mountains with stops to enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. Finally, we will get to Marrakech.
