4-day Adventure tour from Fes to Marrakech

The itinerary of the 4-day Adventure tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes- Ifrane- Azrou- Midelt- Ziz valley- Merzouga.

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes and then start our “4-day Adventure tour from Fes to Marrakech” towards The Sahara Desert of  Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and High Atlas Mountains. The first stop will be in Ifrane( the Swiss town of Morocco), where you are going to take pictures and see the beauty of Ifrane. Later on, head to the biggest cedar forest in Africa, where you will see monkeys(Barbary Apes). Then, continue the road to Midelt, where we’ll have lunch. Later, we will head towards Ziz Valley, then Merzouga desert, and spend the night in a hotel.  

Day 2:  Merzouga- Nomads- Gnawa music- Camel trek- Overnight in the camp.

After breakfast, you will start an explorative journey of the area. First, you will discover an Underground Irrigation System used in an Oasis. Then, you’ll visit the nomads and see how they live in the Desert with their livestock. Also, you will visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Afterward, you will cross the dunes by camel, guided by an experienced camel man, to explore the sandy sea of Merzouga. Overnight, you will be in a desert camp, where you will have your dinner and listen to Berber music played by the locals under a starry sky.  

Day 3:   Merzouga- Erfoud- Rissani- Todra Gorge- Dades valley.

After enjoying a beautiful sunrise and a delicious breakfast in the camp, we will head to Rissani, where we will visit the biggest local market in southeast Morocco. Then, continue to Erfoud, which is the capital of fossils, where you will have the chance to see different fossils and minerals that are found in that area. Afterward, we will drive to Todra Valley with stops to enjoy it and then to Todra Gorge, where you’ll do some walking inside cliffs of 300 m. The night will be in Dades Valley.  

Day 4:  Dades valley- Rose’s valley- Ouarzazate- Ait ben haddou kasbahs- Marrakech.

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Rose’s Valley, where an annual festival takes place each May, then continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” where we will stop to take pictures of the Taourirt Kasbah. Later, we will be in Ait Ben Haddou kasbahs, which are the famous and oldest Kasbahs in Morocco, where many international films have been shot, such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones ETC. After touring this UNESCO World Heritage site. Our journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 m. On the way, we will stop to enjoy the impressive views of Berber villages and different landscapes. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon.
