The itinerary of 3 days – Fes to Marrakech desert tour:
Day 1: Fes- Ifrane- Midelt- Ziz valley- Sahara desert- overnight in a Camp.
At 8:00 a.m., we will begin our “3 days- Fes to Marrakech desert tour” and drive to Ifrane, which is located on the Middle Atlas Mountains. Following that, we will travel to Africa’s largest Cedar forest, where we will see barbarian apes (monkeys). After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to the Ziz Valley, where we’ll enjoy a panoramic view, and then to the Merzouga Sahara desert. After a glass of mint tea, you’ll ride Camels across Sand Dunes, stopping to enjoy the magnificent sunset from atop a dune in a peaceful atmosphere before arriving at the camp, where you’ll spend a lovely night under the stars surrounding Nomad musicians . Dinner and a night in the Desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga- Erfoud- Todra gorges- Dades valley.
The Camel man will wake you up early in the morning to see the sunrise on the dunes near the camp, then ride the Camels back to meet your driver in the village of Merzouga. Following that, we will travel to Rissani, which has a large local market where over 300 villages shop every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Then, drive to Erfoud, where we will stop to explore the various fossils and minerals found in the area. We’ll then drive to Todra Valley and Gorge. Finally, we’ll stay in Dades Valley for the night.
Day 3: Dades valley- Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains- Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will drive to Rose Valley, where an annual festival is held each May, and then to Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa,” where we will stop to photograph the Taourirt Kasbah. Later, we’ll make our way to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s most famous and oldest Kasbahs, where many international films have been filmed, including Gladiator, The Mummy, Game of Thrones, and others. Following our visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site, we will continue our journey through the majestic Tizi n tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 m. We will stop in the high Atlas mountains to take in the breathtaking views of Berber villages and various landscapes. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech late afternoon.
