The itinerary of 3 days tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert and back to Marrakech:

 

Day 1: Marrakech- High atlas mountains- Ait ben haddou kasbahs- Ouarzazate- Dades valley.

We will begin our “3 Days Tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert-Marrakech Desert Tours” at 8 a.m., then travel to the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m), stopping along the way to see Berber villages and breathtaking views. Following that, we will visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s oldest and most famous villages, where many international films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones have been filmed. Finally, we’ll travel to Dades Valley via Ouarzazate.

 

 

Day 2: Dades valley- Todra gorge- Merzouga- Camel trek and overnight in a Desert camp.

After breakfast, we will travel to the Sahara Desert via Tinghir, where you will enjoy panoramic views of Todra Valley, then Todra Gorge, a national park for rock climbing, and finally Erfoud, the fossil capital of the country. Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels across the dunes and spend the night in the middle of the Sahara. After dinner, you will gather around the fire to listen to Berber music performed by nomads under a starry sky.

 

Day 3: Merzouga dunes- Draa valley- Anti atlas mountains- Marrakech.

Waking up early to see the sunrise from the top of a dune near the camp is a must. Later, you’ll ride the camels back to meet your Driver/Guide. On the way back to Marrakech, you’ll have the chance to see the Draa Valley (the biggest valley in the southeast of Morocco). Then, cross the Anti Atlas Mountains via the Ait Saouen Pass (1740 m), and continue to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains.
