Meknes City is one of the four imperial cities in Morocco.  It flourished during the era of Molay Ismail Sultan (1672- 1727).

The city has numerous sights that attract tourists from all over the world, including THE OLD MEDINA, THE BAB MANSOUR GATE, THE AHDIM SQUARE, THE MASSIVE WALLS OF THE MEDINA, THE BOU INANIA MADRASA AND SUANI CISTERN.
