The itinerary of the 7-day trip from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert:
Day 1: Marrakech
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by your Guide/ Driver and transferred to your accommodation in the old Medina. Free time to wander inside the ramparts of the Medina and Jamaa El Fna square.
Day 2: Marrakech guided tour.
Today will be an informative day about Marrakech’s history. You are going to Start your journey from the Kotoubia Mosque which was built in the 12th century then walk to the Bahia Palace which was built in the 19th century and was the biggest at that time. Afterward, continue to the Saadien Tombs and the Souks. Finally, visit the most important gardens in Morocco which is Majorel. Free time in the Riad.
Day 3: Marrakech- Atlas Mountains- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we will head towards the massive Atlas Mountains where we will enjoy breathtaking views along the way. After that, we will be in one of the important villages in Morocco, which was listed as a UNESCO site in 1987, it is Ait Ben Haddou. It was the home of Many international Movies such as Gladiator, the Mummy, and Game of Thrones… Finally, drive to our destination which is Dades Valley.
Day 4: Dades- Todra Gorge- Camel trekking and overnight in the Sahara.
On this day, the highlights will be as follows: Todra gorge, where will do short walking, visit Nomads who live in a cave and share a cup of tea with them, Camel trekking and overnight in a desert Camp, where we will have dinner and gaze at stars while a group of Nomads play music to Us.
Day 5: Discover the Sahara Desert including Nomads, Camels, Oasis, and Gnawa People.
After enjoying a magnificent sunset over a sea of dunes, we will head back by Camel to a point where we will meet our Driver/guide. Then, start our journey by visiting an Oasis, where we will discover a brilliant Irrigation system used by Locals, afterwards, head to the Nomads to figure out how they live in the Sahara. Finally, drive to the Gnawa People, to enjoy a music performance of theirs. Free time in the Hotel.
Day 6: Sahara- Local Market- Draa Valley-Ouarzazate
After a delicious breakfast, we will drive to a local Market in the desert to learn about some handicrafts and the way the Nomads and villagers shop. Later on, drive towards the massive Valley in the southeastern of Morocco which is Draa. Finally, continue to Ouarzazate. Easter holiday offer 2024 in Morocco
